KINTSUGI
Inspired by a Centuries-Old Art Form
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi, where cracks are not concealed but celebrated with gold. From the idea of embracing imperfection emerges an object with character and a story to tell.
Every gold element of this edition has been meticulously finished by hand using genuine gold leaf.
The result is the URBN HOOP® KINTSUGI – a unique piece at the intersection of streetball, craftsmanship, and art.
ROPE CONNECTOR
Gold-colored rope connectors reflect the Kintsugi philosophy. They connect the individual elements of the net while becoming a visible part of the design itself.
EMBLEM & KINTSUGI LINE
Gold-colored stainless steel emblem combined with a distinctive Kintsugi line. A deliberate design detail that makes connection visible and gives this edition its unmistakable identity.
PARACORD ROPE NET
White Paracord rope net with gold and blue accents. A composition of contrast, rhythm, and structure— inspired by the distinctive lines of traditional Kintsugi craftsmanship.
ELLIPSE KNOTS
Gold and blue ellipse knots create carefully placed accents throughout the net. Like the golden seams of a Kintsugi repair, they make connection visible and give the design its distinctive identity.

SKELETON
Streetball Meets Impermanence
An artistic interpretation of streetball, impermanence, and urban culture.
The handcrafted airbrush artwork features a mysterious Grim Reaper as its central figure. Across the side mounting plates, the illusion is created that he is holding the hoop with his skeletal hands. The result is a URBN HOOP® transformed into an art object with a story of its own.
URBN HOOP® CHAIN
The URBN HOOP® emblem appears as part of the Grim Reaper’s chain. A small detail with a powerful impact—embedded in the story of the artwork.
AIRBRUSH-ART
Handcrafted airbrush artwork featuring a mysterious Grim Reaper as the central motif. Dramatic lighting contrasts and intricate details give the hoop its unmistakable presence.
ELLIPSE KNOTS
The black connection elements reinforce the calm, dark aesthetic of the overall design. Subtly integrated to keep the artwork at the center of attention.
